Chris While Julie Matthews

Chris While and Julie Matthews are "simply the best"! They are both superb singers, musicians and songwriters. The effect they have on their audience is magical. They each have powerful but beautiful individual voices and their singing together is wondrous. Someone once described their live performances as close to a "religious experience" - I'm happy to say I am a convert and a dedicated follower. I am still amazed at the beauty and variety of the songs they write which deserve to be heard by a wider audience. Hopefully they will be heard by more and more people as their reputation grows. Long may they continue on their musical journey together...

In recent years, together with Helen Watson, they put on women's singing workshops called "Rejoice the Voice". The workshop brings all sorts of women together who simply want to sing. By the end of the workshop, having been ably guided by Chris, Julie and Helen, the group achieves remarkable results - singing like angels in three part harmony.
